TOP 10 FAMILY GUY CHARACTERS

Welcome to the Knockout and today we would be counting down Family Guy's top ten characters. For this list we would be looking at ten of it's best, complex and sophisticated characters. We wouldn't be including reoccurring characters because they deserve a list of their own. Created by Seth McFarland in 1999, Family Guy has become one of the most popular adult animated series and in some way has also forged a path for other adult animations to strive. that being said, family guy also has a lot of wonderful and diverse characters which has made the show to survive having nineteen seasons and over three hundred and fifty episodes.
Let's get started!
10. BONNIE SWANSON
Bonnie Swanson is the wife of Joe Swanson and the mother of their two children Kevin and Susie Swanson. the latter of which was born after six seasons which was like six years, she finally gave birth. Peter Griffin has one time acknowledged this fact and told her to either have the baby or don't. Bonnie is a very compassionate woman, having deciding to stay with Joe even do he is paraplegic. Although sometimes it it noted that she is not having the best time of her life in some episodes. Taking care of Joe is like taking care of a baby. For example she changes the diapers of both Joe and Susie. Bonnie has tried several times to kill Joe several times. Having been tired of the way their relationship is sometimes one sided, she taking care of Joe all the time without her getting any attention for herself. All the same, Bonnie Swanson is a very understanding wife, and mother. She enjoys spending time with Lois and Donna, often drinking wine and gossiping about their husbands.
9. CLEVELAND BROWN
8. JOE SWANSON
Joe Swanson is the husband of Bonnie and Father of Susie and Kevin. He is Neighbor to Peter Griffin and also one of His best friends. Joe Swanson is a paraplegic police officer and is a devoted one at that. He has sometimes chased a criminal and caught them. He is a devoted friend and he would do anything for his family and friends. He is devoted to is job and the law and he would stop at nothing to arrest even his family. He has been seen arresting even Peter when they are caught committing a crime. Him being cripple has been a running joke throughout the series, having his leg cut off or crushed in some episodes that deals with other versions of the character.
7. MEGA-TRON GRIFFIN
Mega-tron Griffin (and yes we are not joking about the name) is the eldest child of the Griffin family. Her father changed the name on her birth certificate from Megan to Mega-tron. Meg is at the bottom of the social tree. She doesn't have many friends and she is overlooked and disrespected by even her family. She is always the butt of the joke and even the writers don't know what to do about the character. When asked they said they don't know how to write a teenage girl which sounds absurd if you ask me. In "Seahorse seashell party" the second episode of the tenth season, Meg finally stands up to her family. in the end, when she sees that it was tearing the family apart, she decides to remain their punching bag. Meg can be very obsessive as well. She falls in love with weird people because of her low self esteem. Like Peter always says, "Shut Up Meg!" By the way, she was traded to American Dad! once and they didn't seem too pleased!
6. CHRIS GRIFFIN
Chris Griffin is the Griffins second child and first son. If You looking for someone who is almost as dumb as Peter, he is your guy. Chris can sometime seem like he is making a lot of sense from what he is doing. He is voiced by the talented Seth Green. He gets bullied a lot at school both by his school mates and even the principle. He is the nicest in the Griffin family, and the rest of the family likes to take advantage of that. He believes in the best in people which he realize that people aren't necessarily what they seem to be.
5. GLENN QUAGMIRE
Glenn Quagmire is also friends with Joe, Cleveland and Peter and also their neighbor. Quagmire is a pilot by profession having traveled to several places around the world. He also takes pride in what he does, that is being a pilot and also being a pervert. He is obsessed with women and is also in love with Lois Griffin. He can also be very sensitive and can also be a caring person, He has a a catchphrase when ever he does some thing crazy called GIGITY. We don't know what it means but we are also not eager to find out.
4. LOIS GRIFFIN
Lois Griffin is the wife of Peter Griffin and the mother of their three children, Meg, Chris and Stewie. She's friends with Donna and Bonnie. Lois is somewhat smarter than the rest of her family, well apart from Stewie. She is usually the voice of reason when Peter does one of his ridiculous things. Lois has however shown from time to time that even one of the reasonable characters can sometimes act very unreasonable. Overall, Lois is a good mother and a good wife. When her family needs comforting, she's always there and will do anything for them.
3. BRIAN GRIFFIN
Brian Griffin is the family dog of the Griffins. He us to be one of the smartest and knowledgeable characters. But as the show progresses he gets dumber and dumber. The dog drinks coffee, alcohol, takes weed and is very bad at relationships. He is an atheist. He is also a writer. He's book "Faster than the speed of Love" got the worst review ever and has a record of making no sale. Brian is Extremely close to Stewie Griffin and they have been in many adventures and are absolutely fan favorites.
2. PETER GRIFFIN
Peter Griffin is the goofy and funny Father of the Griffin Family. He is the titular character of the show. Peter, in early seasons was a lot like Homer from the Simpsons. He use to be a terrible father but tries his best to be a good one. But in later seasons, he has shown to have no remorse whatsoever in what he does. Peter loves getting drunk almost ever single day and gets expensive things that even his neighbor, Joe has questioned a lot of times. He treats his kids like garbage and he doesn't respect his wife and friends. Even with all these negative trends, Peter Griffin can also be a wonderful person.
1. STEWIE GRIFFIN
He may be small, but he's one smart baby. He is the last child of the Griffin Family. Stewie is a brilliant, if not the most brilliant scientist in the world. What's amusing about him that he is a smart child in the mist of a very dumb family. He spends most of his time with Brian going through a lot of adventures together. For some reason he hates his mother and has been trying to kill her in earlier seasons calling her womb a prison he escaped from and calls a "Vile Woman." Stewie is number one on this list for being the only character who constantly grows as a character and connects deeply with the audience and also for being one of the shows best characters till date.
