TITANS SEASON 3: Anna Diop's Starfire Finally gets her comic accurate Suit!

Starfire has been a main charcter of this teen titans live action series since it's first season in 2018. But the charcter soon became a controversial one when comic dedicated fans soon found out that the chacter really looks out of proportion and looked more like party girl than an alien superhero. the actress herself, Anna Diop shared her dismay on her character's dressing style. 
 
the first suite involves a purple dress, black boots and a fur coat. Think it's safe to say that she felt more like an alien version of Cruella Deville. The first suite might not have sat well with the producers as well because in season 2, her dress was once again changed to a dark dress complete with the green jewelries. A red Jacket was occasinally worn over the dress.


Some days ago the concept art was released to the public by DC Comics. The dress was purple in color and Starfire has long wavy hair, The actual photo of Anna wearing the dress involves the same dress but with a curly hair. it is unknown if this concept was changed or if their are still planning on changing the hairstyle. there was a lot of excitement about the new suite and there were a lot of positive remarks about the dress as well. 

WHAT'S NEXT FOR STARFIRE IN SEASON 3?
One of the major reasons for the drastic costume change has to do with the fact that Starfire is having a major story-line involving her sister Blackfire. Blackfire would be the main villain for the second half of the season, with Red hood; Jason Todd being for the first half. 


WHEN WILL TITANS SEASON 3 BE RELEASED?
Titans was renewed for a third season in November 2019. it was to begin filming early 2020 but was unable to because of the pandemic. It began filming in October 2020. Though a release date have not been confirmed yet, it expected to be released early to mid 20201. All of the cast would be returning including Conor Leslie who plays Donna Troy who died in the last season.




The third season of Titans would begin streaming on HBOmax Early 2021
